Airbryt started as a student idea about a very unglamorous problem — and grew into a company building smarter, friendlier HVAC care.

Airbryt began with a simple observation: HVAC systems are expensive, but most property teams still manage filter maintenance with guesswork, fixed schedules, or tenant complaints.
Founded by Henry Putney, a Clemson University business graduate, Airbryt is developing patent-pending HVAC monitoring technology to help property owners protect equipment, reduce waste, and gain visibility across their systems.
What started as a student-led venture concept has grown into a startup supported by engineers, advisors, and collaborators from institutions including Clemson University and the University of Pennsylvania. Today, Airbryt is focused on building and validating pilot units for property managers and HVAC partners who want to move from reactive maintenance to condition-based system protection.
